Were you there...? Were you there...? Were you there...?

The Youth Passion tells the biblical Passion story in new words and looks at it with new eyes. It is an approach to a story that has moved mankind for 2000 years. 

Sixteen young people between the ages of 14 and 28 are taking on a great challenge: they are performing eight performances in seven different churches in Austria. In eight scenes, they ask questions and leave some of them unanswered. Shouldn't Pilate have listened to his wife Procula after all? What does the Roman centurion do after Jesus' crucifixion? Why can Mary Magdalene believe in the resurrection of Jesus and others cannot? 

Those who were there report: What they experienced - what they did not understand - what they did not believe - what they then believed after all...  What disturbed them - what amazed them - what surprised them...

The proceeds from voluntary donations will benefit the respective parishes!

From the final monologue of Mary Magdalene:

Through his cruel death on the cross and even more so through the empty tombmy love for him was silenced and buried.I don't know - there was just a great emptiness inside me.

Everything seemed pointless to me - I no longer wanted to live without him!

And then, this one word: MARIA!

It hit my heart like a word of love.

I don't know what love brought HIM into my life.

I only know that His love brought me back to life!

Now I want to be the messenger of His love!
