In 2010, the basic idea of performing passion plays in Grossenlüder came up for the first time. Our founder and initiator Manfred Müller had the idea and convinced many people in our community to take part. In 2015 the time had come, with 250 participants in 11 performances, we were able to inspire 4,500 visitors to the Passion Play in Grossenlüder. With this euphoria, a passion play association was founded in 2017 and a new edition is planned for 2018.
With over 250 participants, we were able to bring the 11 performances to the stage in 2018 with an overwhelming success.
