Since 1925, the Passion Play of Ligny has been a real theatrical en cultural phenomenon. It is the pure expression of a whole population and it counts not less than 150 completely voluntary persons. The rigorous production and dazzling lighting effects superbly emphasize the most important scenes of Evangels.
The great originality of this show is the choir of narrators who give a topical view on the teaching of Jesus of Nazareth.
